Our Story
Many educational products and experiences are designed for learners and environments that are digitally connected and able to pay. That is why our story that began in April 2014 with around 10 volunteers, 30 students, and no monetary support is different.
Our mission from day 1 was to create high quality. outcomes-driven learning experiences that were affordable and accessible to every learner irrespective of where they come from. We started in a small run down temple hall in a village called Deraniyagala in Sri Lanka. Absolutely nothing would have convinced us that we would become what we are today. Our idea was simple -we wanted to run a thoughtfully designed and tested English language program for children and adults in Deraniyagala.
Fast forward five years; we run three idea labs, released three learning products impacting over 3000+ learners across the world.

"When I first joined the Inspire Lab I was just an ordinary school girl. I am definitely not the same Dinusha that joined the Inspire Lab earlier this year. Today I've gained the skills to understand my potential, to overcome my weaknesses and to become a determined young woman. I don't think I will be able to get the skills, learning and exposure I got at the Inspire Lab from anywhere else. More than anything else I found a community of great teachers and a close circle of friends at the Lab. My mother has gone through a lot in life and she actually came for all the sessions from Day 1 because even she was learning so many new things.
